Everyone is invited to join Miss New York Kaitlin Monte, and the STAN staff and volunteers at the Bloomingdales Parking Lot of Roosevelt Field Mall on Saturday, April 28th at 2:00pm. Here, we will be shooting a portion of our upcoming bullying/cyber bullying awareness video. The goal of this gathering is to get a short video clip of a large group party shuffling as a symbol to fight against negative attitudes among our society.
You might ask yourself, what does party shuffling have to do with cyber bullying? The concept behind the party shuffling is that instead of performing a hurtful act on social networking sites, let’s do something entertaining and positive.
The recording will only take a short amount of time, so please come and bring all your friends! It will be an exciting experience by bringing the Long Island student body together to stand up and “shuffle” against bullying.
Let’s be a part of this anti-bullying movement! Get ready to party rock! 🙂
